Testimony from a pregnant patient
My lower back pain was well out of proportion to the small number of weeks that I was pregnant when I arrived to her practice seeking help. According to Dr Caplan, adjusting my pelvis so that it would no longer tilt and put pressure on the lower back was the key. Even she was a bit skeptical as to how well my body was going to adjust to this growing abdomen and presumed chiropratic care was going to be warranted throughout the pregnancy. However, with Dr Caplan's wonderful handiwork, after only a few sessions, I was fixed. I made my way through the hardest and heaviest part of the pregnancy without issue. Thanks for all the great work, Dr. Caplan!
Dr. Rebecca Caplan is a skilled and multi-talented practitioner who promotes all-around health through skillful adjustments, educating patients about our bodies and nutrition and lifestyle issues, and teaching exercises to improve one's individual weaknesses. Unlike so many chiropractors who adjust several patients at once and spend little time with each one, Rebecca adjusts one patient at a time and spends whatever time is needed with you. Her attention is fully on you and your needs!
Rebecca is able to transmit the benefits of chiropractic care better than the several other chiropractors I've seen in the past. She was the first one to explain clearly to me how regular chiropractic adjustments benefit the immune system. She has taught me in-home exercises over the years which have strengthened my back and wrists and prevented further injury.
Rebecca flexibly fits various treatments with whatever issue a client presents in the moment, without losing sight of the overall health goals. When I have re-injured myself foolishly by lifting something too heavy for me and appeared for an adjustment, she has used various mechanical and heat methods to jump-start the healing process, as well as adjustments and lifestyle suggestions (never made critically!), to help me back on the path to deep healing.
Although I have recently moved to a home further away from Rebecca's office, her style and her wisdom make it well worth the longer trip to continue my care with her. I am grateful to have her as a skilled partner on my healing journey!
