
About Dr. Rebecca Caplan
Dr. Caplan graduated with a B.A. in Anthropology from Brandeis University in 1980. She graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic with a Doctorate of Chiropractic degree in 1986. She has been in continual practice since 1987. She has held membership in the Sacro Occipital Technique Organization, and the Institute for Functional Medicine and holds Certification in Applied Kinesiology. Dr. Caplan practices a variety of chiropractic techniques including Palmer Diversified Technique, Sacro Occipital Technique, Applied Kinesiology, and Activator Methods. She is experienced in exercise rehabilitation and can design the exercise program that best suits each patient. Her goal is to return her patients to health and wellness as quickly as possible.
Dr. Caplan has personal knowledge of various forms of dance. Her specialized work with the specific problems of athletes and dancers is drawn from her own experience as well as education and training.
At the annual National Organization for Women (N.O.W.) convention in Boston on July 3, 2010 Dr. Caplan presented a workshop on healthy aging.
